Automated Vehicles: Mind the Brakes

On September 13th I'm giving a talk on Automated Vehicles intended for interested engineers on behalf of the IEEE Silicon Valley Consultants Network (but it is open to the public).  This will be an overview emphasizing the sensor technologies and where they work and don't work.  I'll talk about cameras, radar, lidar and ultrasound, but my primary interest is in the communications and mapping topics, so I'll spend most of my time on those.  This is, after all, where all the other sensors work together.
